I didn't finish this in time for the EBSQ show (Flower of the Month - Buddleia), but please check back when it's done! It will have beautiful colors and many different butterfly fairies.

Buddleia flowers are known for attracting butterflies with their sweet nectar. This painting is meant to look like a pretty Butterfly Bush with various butterflies (such as the Tiger Swallowtail, Monarch, Morpho, Tailed Birdwing) from far away. When you look close up, you'll see that these are actually fairies. I mostly make Fantasy art (fairies, angels, and mermaids) so that is why I wanted to make fairy butterflies for this piece.
