The leaves of this begonia are gorgeous...but it is still a thrill when in the dead of winter the flowers seem to magically appear!! My kitchen window is filled with all kinds of plants but the begonias were my first flowering specimens. This paintings is done with Watercolor and Pen and ink on Arches 140lb. Hot Press Watercolor Paper using Winsor Newton and Sennlier watercolors.
