This is a digital photo of a sunflower that I shot in my backyard. I wanted a closeup shot of the intricate, spiral pattern of the detailed center of the flower as the seeds were developing. The digital enhancement gives the photo a watery, dreamy look in the background. When the seeds matured, the squirrels climbed the stem and snatched the flower off for a tasty meal.
