This is my entry for the last botanical show of 2005. It features the African Amaryllis "BELLADONNA", known also as the "Madonna Lily". It is found in many european churches adorning the Madonna and Child statues, celebrating the birth of Jesus and honouring his mother Mary. Its a special piece for all these reasons.
