This is an orignal oil on hardboard. Its inspiration was from a cross-country trip I took in the Spring of 1986 to the Rocky Mountains. The flowers are a mixture of Heartleaf Arnica, Northern Mule's Ear, poppies and Colorado Blue Columbine.
