Even as a child I loved and chased butterflies, as most of us did, as age will will not let me chase them anymore, I had to bring them to me. For this reason I created the Ulysses- Butterfly in all his glory. I choose the male Ulysses because of his vibrant and rich blue. Every day he brings me the joy I had as a child when I marveled at those beautiful creations. In this piece I used Marble, Mexican Smalti, hand made Pottery leaves (by me) and gave him 18 karat half round rose gold antennae.
