I believe that childhood should be filled with fun, color, music and wonder. I know that the best parts of my childhood were. Of course, there was nothing like Chuck E Cheese way back then, but there were other wonderful times to be had. This piece started as a small pencil sketch I made while watching my grandchildren having fun at Chuck E Cheese. I brought it home in my purse where it languished until I was changing purses one day recently.. From there, I transfered it to w/c paper, then I inked it in. Then with transparent acrylics I painted a background to set the mood. Then I moved to opaque acrylics for the details. I finally gave it a light coat of protectant.
