Childhood is about so very many things. One of them is learning where one stands in the general scheme of things and how to and how to deal with the other inhabitants. This is my grandchild with one of my dogs. She has just fed the dog a biscuit and the dog is looking to see if there is another in her hand. This piece began with watercolors on watercolor paper. I then inked it in. Then using a geometric stencil I worked on the background with pigmented, gel pens. Then I moved to opaque acryllics, I finally gave it a light coat of protectant.
