This piece was created specifically for the EBSQ Chicken show. In this piece I used a variety of media including newspaper, linen tape, oil pastel, acrylics, ink pen and bees wax. It is a piece with a lot of texture and small details. You will find writing and bits of newspaper ads in the work hidden under layers of fine glazes. Written beside this little newly hatched chick is the saying "everyone needs to learn to fly".
