Kinky Friedman ran for Governor of Texas in 2006. In my opinion, he is one of the few politicians that is very blunt and honest. That is a rare trait in anyone these days, especially politicians. I recently finished reading his newest book, What Would Kinky Do?, and was inspired to use him as my subject for the Campaign Art Show. I designed this piece to look like an old west Wanted poster since he has been referred to as somewhat of an outlaw.

I first used photoshop to mock up my design. I then hand transferred the image and the text on to my Bristol board. For the final design, I used a Rapidograph pen, India ink and my trusty old ruler.
