Sometimes life is a little spicier with a zing - a bowl of chili peppers! I arranged these chilies and then stood on the table to get this view. Since the chilies are complementary colors, I decided to use two other complementary colors for the bowl and shadows - yellow and violet. Using only transparent watercolors I enjoyed letting colors mingle and reflect off neighboring surfaces.
