Prospectus
Take a bowl. Fill it with something. Paint it. That, essentially is what to do for this show. If it fits in a bowl, it quailfies. It must be of something real -living or inanaimate, in a real bowl. Not what your something would look like if it was reduced to fit in your grandmother's bowl or what your something would look like if your grandmother's bowl was supersized to fit it.
"Bowling For Still Lifes: The Watercolour Show" is a media specific, subject specific show featuring works in watercolour. No other media is eligible for this show.
A statement detailing what made you choose your subject as well as brief attention the materials and process is required. It increases understanding of your work and significantly enhances the experience for the viewer. As texture or other small elements may be pivotal to the piece, detail shots are encouraged.
