The mother hen and her chicks are eagerly awaiting the farmer to bring breakfast to the barnyard. The rooster, Chanteclair, is represented in a companion painting. Highest quality pastels on a heavy archival sanded pastel paper are used in this painting. Pastels seem to glow when displayed as they catch the light as no other meduim!
