Corrine was a beautiful Ayrshire dairy cow on the farm where I once worked. (I live on that farm now but it is no longer a dairy.) I was the person who arrived first on those dark mornings to wake the cows up and bring them into the milk barn and get everything ready. Corrine was spectacular by morning moonlight. Her huge undulating bulk practically glowed in that light. So of course I "had" to do a painting of her posed the way I remember her best.
