The reference photo for this piece was taken on one of those crisp fall afternoons when the air is crystal clear and the sky is azure blue. These young peacocks were just getting colored feathers around their necks and were as curious about me as I was about them. They obliged me by standing on top of a doghouse in front of a white board fence at a friend's horse farm. This painting still hangs in my home. Prints will soon be available through Imagekind.
