Old MacDonald had a farm, Ee i ee i oh! And on that farm he had some...

This year is the 10th anniversary year for EBSQ. One way we are celebrating is by revisiting some of our favorite show themes from the past decade. There are those that remember The Chicken Show with fondness. Others have a soft spot for The Cow Show. To honor those shows – and to keep us from having to choose between the two, we proudly bring you Barnyard Animals.

Barnyard Animals is not a media specific show. Anything goes: paintings, automata, whatever you like as long as it depicts barnyard or farm animals. The only real requirement you need to keep in mind when choosing your subject is that it be a real animal and not one that has been created in the imagination. Anything you would like to include about your subject and why you chose it is not only welcomed, but encouraged.

We strongly recommend all artists include a statement with each entry, as statements can enhance the experience for the online viewer.

If the relevance of an entry to the show's theme is not readily apparent, we will request that the artist supply a short statement of explanation. We also encourage you to include detail shots of your entries. This will allow the viewer to full appreciate your work as small details can be lost in an online environment.

Eligible entries must meet all points of the prospectus. If you have any questions regarding the prospectus and its requirements, please send them to edu@ebsqart.com.
