My little friend wanted a puppy really badly. My mentally disabled neighbors had one, but weren't able to take care of him. They left him tied up to their garage and barely fed him.

So instead of reporting them to the authorities, I just walked over one day and told them I was taking the puppy to a better home. It was pretty high-handed, yes. But the puppy went to a much better home, and my friend got a dog to love and take care of.

And I'd do it again.

This was shot on Tmax 400 film in a Pentax Spotfinder SLR 35mm. After I scanned the negative, the only tweaking was the subtle vignetting and some contrast boosting.
