This is my "old man." My father said it was ok to call him my old man, but if he ever heard me call my Mom my "old lady" he'd knock me through a wall. The kids I grew up with in my neighborhood nicknamed him "Brick", cause talking to him was like talking to a brick wall, everything had to be done his way or not at all. His philosophy on child rearing " crooked the twig, so grows the tree", Dr Phil, eat your heart out. He was strick, but fair and bestowed onto me a great work ethic that has followed me my whole life.
I took this photo of my Dad back in the 70's using an old Kodak Instamatic camera using flashcubes. I scanned the tattered print on a Canon 9950F scanner, then used Paint Shop to remove scratches and repair any defects from the original photograph.
