This image was taken on October 31, 2004, while on a brief trip to Westport, WA. Westport is one of my favorite destinations to watch the waves and surfers. I can't resist a little beach combing for photo opportunities. This washed up shrub caught my eye as a I walked pasted. I began to dream that the shrub as a visitor washed up from a distant land, but alas it was part of the local flora.
