This is a loose interprataion of the Aesop's fable, the lion and the mouse. The part of the lion (leo) is being played by my dog Lola, an S.P.C. A pit beagle. The feathers floating around her head signify the recent unsolved murder ofa pidgeon in our yard. Lola is currently the chief suspect, the only other possibilities are two old arthritic yellow dogs.Anyway not much on the subject but fun to paint as bad bad \lola is my current favorite subject. She will be appearing a lot in my paintings.
