This is one of my piece from The Structure Series. It is mixed media on canvas, consists of acrylic as background paints and collage of magazine photo. Multi layers of acrylic paints and acrylic gel medium to give the glossy final look. The Chrysler Building is one of the familiar landmarks in New York. It was the world's tallest building at 1046 feet tall, until it was surpassed by the Empire State Building. There are so many magnificent structures in New York. Hence, I have developed a series of work called The Structure Series which is inspired by these structures in New York City and other places, regardless of big or small. Although The World Trade Center is no longer there, New York is still a great city. The Statute of Liberty is still standing up high and tall as a proud symbol of New York City.
