I modelled this clay figure by hand out of immagination (in Italian clay) and left it to dry naturally. Some appropriate undercoat and then gold leaf paint.The base is in mixed media of jablo and papier mache painted with canvas primer as undercoat then black oil paint and gold leaf for that bronzy effect. When I photographed the figure I retouched the background digitally to black and white. Clay modelling in this method is my specialization and favourite art although I also love painting/drawing, photography and all creative arts.
