“What is this thing they call a Heart --- kept hidden from the light of day? I pulled mine out to take a peek, then quickly put it back away.”

The upper cat dangles the key to her heart, but she doesn't notice. I wanted to take the idea of a heart, precious and hidden, and present it in a whimsical manner.

This painting was accepted into the juried show "For the Love of Art" held at Artspace Gallery in Austin Texas USA, in 2010.
