This painting is based on a fish bowl on a coffee table next to a vase of flowers. A lamp was next to the fish bowl which gave the fish bowl a glowing appearence. The flower vase was on the coffee table with a book case directly behind it. This created a dark shadow behind the vase. The painting was done by using  oil on canvas.
