8"x10" on 9"x12" Acrylic on Canson Paper...(photo natural light) mal⋅ice  [mal-is] Show IPA (dictionary.com) –noun 1. desire to inflict injury, harm, or suffering on another, either because of a hostile impulse or out of deep-seated meanness: the malice and spite of a lifelong enemy. 2. Law. evil intent on the part of a person who commits a wrongful act injurious to others. Origin: 1250–1300; ME < OF < L malitia. See mal-, -ice Although there is no real harm here, notice the models head has moved from danger. The feel of the piece is no less threatening. I think thats true of life and how we speak sometimes. May we all be more attentive of our image when we engage with others. Special thanks to MJRanum stock.
