I love the idea of "Fallen" angels. I think there is so much hidden & unknown about fallen angels, and especially this one in particular. This angel is beautiful on the outside with her (I use Her, but angels are said to be both sexes at once) blue-ish skin, but what is hidden away on the inside? What hidden deed or thought condemned her to a life of unholiness? Even the roses die & shrivel away from her. Perhaps the most hidden aspect of this angel could be her remorse? I used acrylics & liquid metals paints, and then went back in with a hard charcoal pencil for extra detail definition & the textural "feel" of charcoal. SOLD
