Our backyard is filled with chubby little chipmunks all spring ,summer and fall.They seem to be able to gather tons of sunflower seeds that fall from the bird feeders and stuff their faces to bursting. During the winter they hide and we never see them until there is good weather once more. I know that even the birds miss them since they are usually the first animal who sends out a screeching alarm if there are any hawks in the vicinity. This watercolor was done on Arches 140 lb Hot Press watercolor paper using Winsor Newton and Sennlier watercolors.
