Remembering the words, ashes to ashes, dust to dust--I use the words dust to matter, matter to dust...It's normal cycle of life for all things to go back to its' origins. Decaying is just normal. I call this piece "decay". I have digitally highlighted two different leaves; a decaying mango leaf and a decaying breadfruit (Ulu in Hawaiian) in this piece--its' so striking and formatted 11 inches in height and 8.5 inches in width.
