I used transparent Watercolors for the frog and the foreground. The dark background was slightly textured ( see second photo ) and painted with Acrylics. After a protective fixative spray - this Watercolor can be displayed as is - no mat, no glass, no frame! The gesso board comes on its own birch frame. I can either be left natural - or be painted.
