In my world of canvas and paints, balance takes form as a large abstract that reflects the stability of a large silver square poised on the tip of a dark pyramid. Opposite color combination's, and solid shapes accompanying spaces with soft shading brings this a visual composition of unusual stability.
All my paintings in my industrial series of abstracts have a varnished finish thats been combined with both matte and glossy in selected areas that intensifies the composition. Materials use are acrylic paints, acrylic mediums and silver leaf foil. Artist archival quality stretched canvas with staple-free edges; triple coats of gesso primed and finished with two coats of vanish and a special varnish on silver leaf to prevent tarnishing.
