There are so many very special pieces on this one and I am super excited about it. All are from my collection of vintage jewelry and, while some pieces are costume, many are silver. the chain that sports the charms, I believe is silver, though I'm not a metalurgist and I'm not sure how to tell exactly. I'm guessing mostly because of the color of the tarnish. I'm also pretty sure that the largest pendant is also silver - but again - that is a guess. Oh - the key is stamped 42 and is from the HHM Safe Company. So yes - anyone who owns this necklace will hold the key to the universe.
It has a 15.5" drop, including the largest pendant which measures 2" long.
