Tall vase with square flowers on textured background

This whimsical piece was actually a collaboration (of sorts) with my husband, Jason.

He created the square & rectangular shapes on this canvas, and then decided he didn't want to go further with it.

I then tookover, and basically created the rest. I tranformed one of the rectangle shapes into a "tall vase" and used the other square and rectangular shapes for an interesting, and unusual take on "flowers" .

Finally, I added a textured background and there you have it; a very "different" kind of floral arrangement.

It measures 12x24x.75" and is a perfect shape to fill that "unusual" space in your home or office.

Some of the colors used are: Black, pthalo blue, light blue, yellow, red, green, burnt sienna, white, and creamy buttermilk.

The sides are painted black, so there's no need for expensive framing; it's ready to hang.

It is varnished for protection and enhancement of color, and both my husband, and I have signed it on the back.

I show several photos here, including a closeup for detail of texture and color, as well as a photo of how it might look with furniture in a home environment.
