At several different times through out the year I feel the urge to just paint flowers! Mid to late winter is usually the starting point because I really miss the color and beauty of flowers in the yard. It is the time of a nice warm cup of coffee or tea and sitting down with my garden catalogs and daydreaming about all the wonderful flowers I am going to plant and tend in the upcoming year and that usually gets me hopping up to paint them too! Here is the first of several I have started.
