I found the bit of Bavarian nativity ephemera in an antique Hoover cabinet and saved it for years, never quite knowing what to do with it. When I got into collage, at last it found a home. The collage makes use of a sunface tile my eldest godchild made, dried leaves, a corrugated matboard, and the back of an old green book. The little book at the bottom is a photocopy of an early 19th Century catechism I found in a local antiques mall...everything seemed to work together.
