I traveled to Japan & enjoyed the culture and the very fresh sushi. I decided to do a piece about my trip & in my imagination I saw Sushi Travels. I started with a block of wood that I covered with rice paper with sticks dividing the paper. I made the rice bowl, the pieces of sushi, I use symbols on the paper,a clean fish head,bones,chop sticks, etc.
