I always try to keep my eyes and mind open while out on horseback at the familiar conservation area where I ride routinely on Monday's...and a Sunday ride today got us caught up in an unexpected rain storm : ) we lived to tell about it! A week or two ago I stumbled upon a woman hunting mushrooms and thought it might be an interesting theme for a Corgi. What Corgi, after all, doesn't dream of hunting the edibles?! So this Corgi has stumbled upon a nice patch with the direction of this very helpful chipmunk! This was all carefully sculpted in polymer clay, cured as one unit without the use of glue, legs and basket reinforced for extra strength. I then painted the sculpture in detail with acrylics and gave it a protective finish. I lined the bae with green felt for the final finishing touch. This would make a fun addition to your Corgi or miniature collection!
