So, back to the barnyard again! These little barnyard animals are turning out to be a lot of fun for me and challenging my creativity as well as learning a little anatomy, which I love! Normally I wouldn't consider furring a creation with the fibers from the very animal it came from...but in this case it worked out to my liking. I first carefully sculpted this in polymer clay, painted the tiny details then applied alpaca fiber a layer at a time until I was satisfied. Alpacas sport many hair-dos but I chose this shorter cut for this youngster. I used obsidian for the eyes and used a tiny bit of paint to embellish them then sealing with clear varnish. I'll send the buyer an originally signed digital certificate of authenticity that may be verified through the ebsq site. This would make a unique addition to your dollhouse collection!
