The Fall of Eve, was not over an apple, or even a man. It was a fall of a spirit. It was probably the first rape, of the mind and spirit in history. Taken in the fall was trust, reliance, faith. Beauty became perishable, self assurance a luxury women ill could afford. A voices she heard were not hers, hers had lost its way. Eve was the first woman to learn and experience these things, Grieve and sadness became she life long companions, but along with them I believe the Lord gave her great strength and the power of deepened Joy.
