"Tree Before Poppy Field" is an original oil painting, not a reproduction. It is part of my "Italy On My Mind" series. I wanted to capture the calm atmosphere of a hot afternoon in this field spilling into a sea of poppies. I spent several summer vacations traveling all over the Tuscany countryside and the coast. Every little corner of this region is an amazing view.
