I was photographing the aftermath of one of our snowstorms today, when the two trees outside the studio door, which I have seen a thousand times over, caught my eye. I saw them in an entirely new perspective and tried to photograph my vision. Trees have always held a fascination for me since the time my college professor assigned me to endless hours outdoors, sketching all manner of them. These two had a distinctly "human" quality, I thought.
