Grandma seemed to have them wherever she went, and until recently, I never knew what they looked like before they were dried, nor did I know their real name. The Latin name for this beautiful plant is Lunaria - they are also known around the world as the "money plant" and by the old-fashioned name, "silver dollar."
They're captured here, in all their colorful brilliance - a small piece of nature's glorious growing beauty.
Grandma, would be so proud that I found them in the wild.
