Why this shot: The fire escapes are rather mundane but with the steam from the dry cleaners they really illustrate the intricacies of the urban fabric. How this has impacted my current prospective: I think it goes to show that even the mundane can be beautiful, a good lesson overall! Process: No real process, except scooting myself around until I had exactly what I wanted in the viewfinder. Materials: This was taken with my minolta 3exi and developed on kodak paper. This photo has not been digitally altered. A quick photo I snapped in New York with my Minolta.
