Although natural rivals for food and mating territory, a crow and a seagull pause momentarily with 'mutual respect'.
Artist comment: I very often observe flocks of gulls and murders of crows on the beach. In this case the two momentarily rested close to each other on a fence near the ocean. The substrate is 140# watercolor paper and I used gouache to paint the scene. The title speaks for itself.
