"These beautiful, fragrant white blooms, signify Spring. Known worldwide as "Easter's flower', the Easter lily is one of my very favorites."
Artist comment: "This watercolor on Arches 140# hot-pressed paper was painted from a live plant I received on an Easter morning, not too long ago. I set up a background of colorful fabric to set off the pure white of the blooms. As I sketched and painted from life, more and more blooms opened until only two buds remained. All the while I also got to enjoy the fantastic fragrance of 'Easter's flowers'."
