This is a reworking of an older painting from a few years ago. I painted out everything but the trillium flower and reposed the Eastern chipmunk and added twigs and dead leaves to the early spring forest floor. I'm much happier with the picture now. The white flecks are from reflected light when I photographed it, though I didn't use flash.
