"The sky is heavy-laden. The world is grey and cold. It is a mid-winter day on the northern Pacific coast."
Artist Comments: "It has been my experience (and delight) to spend many wonder-filled hours at the edge of the sea. Whether sunny and warm, or grey and cold, (or any where in between) I can't ever get enough of the ocean. When there is a high cliff with rugged rocks, so much the better! Ah, the roar of the surf, the smell of the salt air, and the crisp breeze that waves through my hair. I wanted to convey these emotional attributes to you, the viewer of this painting."
