This piece is in a series of faces/masks. It was inspired by the people I know who served in Vietnam. The green represents the jungle, the glow in the dark represents the stories I have heard about trying to sleep in the bush. The red is the blood, yellow is life and unity - the iridecent colors in this piece represent the hope and determination to come out alive. The pain in the eyes of this Jungle god comes from all the soldiers who gave their lives - that he could not save. This god shall never be happy. This piece has super thick application in parts, with iridecsent blue, orange, green and gold in the face. There are touches of Phosphorescent color in the eyes - therefore parts will glow in the dark. Colors may vary slightly.
