I realize that the ACTUAL amoeba is only a 1-celled oraganism that does not have the "brain" that we usually associate with thinking, however this piece is more a "what-if" in that it would be interesting to think of the possibilities that go on in such a tiny being while it moves and eats and releases itself until it expires. I will be finishing this painting with a non-yellowing, glossy coat of varnish before shipping for added clarity of colors. This is an ORIGINAL, one of a kind painting, created by me, Kathleen A.
