Since the original painting was on an oval panel, this is the print version (with a black rectangular background). Probably my favourite Mermaid painting so far - called "A Certain Slant of Light". A very quiet scene of a lovely mermaid catching a bit of light in a secluded glade. Kinda has a classical feel, with the little dragon-fish-dolphins often seen in the old paintings I adore. Special thanks to Emily Dickinson, for the title =) Original painting 24x18 acrylic on masonite. The original has sold, but prints are available in this rectangular format.
