I've become fascinated with barn quilts. Folks paint traditional quilt patterns on wood from 2' x 2' up to 8' x 8' and hang them on their barns. Kind of a take off on Pennsylvania Dutch hex signs. Thought it an exelent medium to play with simple contemporary folk design and add a bit of pyrography to bring out the details.
